Privacy notice

What we collect

• Your name, email address and password (stored securely, never readable by us).
• Whether you are 18 or older. We do not ask for your birth date.
• For learners under 18: a parent or guardian's name, email address and their consent, with the date it was given.
• Your course progress, quiz scores, robot (its name, parts and capsules) and certificates.
• For orders with robot kits only: a shipping address.
• For payments: the proof of payment you upload and its reference number.

Who can see it

Only you and NYHA Robotics staff. Payment proofs and signatures are private files. The public certificate check page shows only your name, the course or track, and the date.

Classes with a teacher or school

• Teachers and schools (educators) are adults with their own account. They may add the name of their school.
• If you join a class, its educator can see your name, email, your progress and quiz scores in that class's course, and whether you finished it and got a certificate. Nothing else: never your other courses, orders, address, age answer or guardian details.
• You choose to join: you type the class code, see who will see your progress, and confirm. The educator then approves you. If you are under 18, check with your parent or guardian first.
• You can leave a class any time from the course page. You keep the course and your progress; the educator stops seeing them.
• The educator can download a list of their class with the same details: name, email, progress, quiz scores, last activity, the date you finished and whether you have a certificate.
• NYHA staff who only build courses (course makers) can't see any student information.
